Highlights of the Meisner Crash Course for Actors 2024 held on June 24-30 at the Mowelfund Film Institute.

In collaboration with Meisner Studio Manila and AKTOR - League of Filipino Actors, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) Film School program hosted a one-week intensive workshop on the Meisner Technique.

This method is renowned for fostering authentic performances by encouraging actors to listen and respond genuinely to their fellow performers. Award-winning actress Angeli Bayani, along with apprentice teachers from Meisner Studio Manila, conducted hands-on training on 48 skilled and aspiring actors.

The workshop concluded with an acting recital and awarding ceremony led by FDCP Chairman Jose Javier Reyes, FDCP Education Division Head Rica Arevalo, AKTOR Executive Director Joel Saracho, and Ms. Bayani.
